Ruth's Chris Steak House in Kansas City is located on the Country Club Plaza, the Midwest's premier shopping and dining district. Rich mahogany details and high ceilings accent our steakhouse dining rooms, a perfect companion to the ambiance of the historic Plaza. Our restaurant is located on the northwest end of the Country Club Plaza at the corner of 47th and Jefferson.

From our humble beginnings on Broad Street in New Orleans to our current position as the world's largest fine dining company, Ruth's Chris Steak House has come quite a long way in its first four decades. In 2005, we celebrated our 40th anniversary, and we consider it a celebration of the life of a woman who broke the mold - our founder, Ruth Fertel.
