A Celebration!
The KC Fringe Festival now in its seventh year is jam-packed with live theater, dance, performance art, visual art, spoken word, puppetry, storytelling, film and fashion. The Fringe Festival is a celebration of local, regional and national artists, presenting events at venues throughout Kansas City and it just keeps getting better! Last Fringe, Kansas City saw 368 performances in just 11 days! Fringe 2011 presented 115 entries at 18 venues in the heart of our town. Those innovative performances featured 455 artists, most of them local performers. More arts lovers joined the festival audience than ever before, with 24% higher attendance than Fringe 2010.
